FAQs

What ages do you serve?

We currently serve children ages 6–7 (supervision ratio 1:6) and 8–12 (supervision ratio 1:7). Groups are kept small and age-appropriate so activities feel challenging, fun, and developmentally right for your child.

When and where do your programs run?

Campspire runs on weekends only during the fall, winter, and spring season. Our meet-up and pick-up spots are in the La Cañada/Pasadena area, and then we travel together to that day’s destination.

How do you keep kids safe?

Safety is our first priority. We:

  • Keep a low adult-to-child ratio (around 1:7 for older kids)

  • Use check-in/check-out procedures and constant headcounts

  • Set clear behavior and safety rules before each activity

  • Choose venues and activities that are pre-screened for safety and age-appropriateness

How does transportation work?

For many outings, we travel together in a spacious, clean 8-seater minivan with seat belts for every child. For some events, parents may drop off and pick up directly at the venue. Details are always shared in the confirmation email for each day.

What’s included in each package?

The price includes prepackaged snacks, admission tickets, activity fees, and all program supplies (like craft materials or STEM project supplies).

Each child should bring their own water bottle and a packed meal, which we keep safely stored in our large cooler until mealtime.

If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you register so we can plan snacks accordingly.
